What does a normal Day in the life of Ronnie Creager consist of? M-F I’m on my board about 4-6 hours practicing tricks, skating low key spots that aren’t a bust. I’ll skate a park in the morning after a good breakfast and stretching then off to get photos and video for upcoming mags, vids or web content. Sat and Sun are all out war on skating. I reserve these days for trespassing in schools, hard to skate spots. I’ll stat out all night with a generator and lights to get a specific trick if needed. Weekends aren’t my party days… More like serious shred days.

Tell me About happyskateboarding.com: it’s my online skateshop I started 4 years ago. It’s small, selling only hard goods. Kick ass prices on all skateboards and accessories.

Are you filming for anything specific right now? always filming! Check out “blind Sunday fundays” every Sunday on the transworld skateboarding site. I’m working on some video parts for “the Berrics” (steve Berra & Eric Koston skateboard park) and a full part to make me happy and proud of.

Is filming a video part now, similar to when you filmed a part for MenikMati, The blind Video and What if? For the most part yes. It takes dedication, will power and drive not to give up. I like trying to film 5 usable tricks a week or more. That doesn’t always happen. Some tricks take a few days!

Any words of wisdom for the kids trying to come up in skating? be good to your parents, they buy your boards and drive you places. Haha. Practice what you have fun doing and let that guide you. Go to school, learn something but don’t forget to practice those tricks.

Why skateboarding, not golf? golf is like playing the lottery for me, it’s exciting and gives me hope for something good, usually ends in failure but it’s still fun. I play golf when I’m injured and need time to heal and it’s good to get out and walk. Skateboarding will always be my first love and passion.

Goals with skateboarding and Life: to live a happy and positive life and keep giving back to skateboarding. It varies all the time but that’s basically it without getting into detail.

Being in the game for a while, is there anything that you have seen change significantly in skateboarding over the last 10 years, for better or worse? I’ve seen a lot of changes in my self that’s for the better.
